Our dear mother, Gloria DePasquale sadly passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022 at the age of 88. She was the daughter of Michael and Anna Loparto from Central Falls, RI. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Vincent in 1985 and is survived by 3 children (Michael, Debra and Vince), 3 grandchildren (Nicholas, Dylan, and Maya), and 2 great grandchildren (Laiken and Palmer). After graduating from high school, she began her career as an illustrating artist of greeting cards for Paramount Company. During the period of raising her family, she was active in St. Jude Church in Lincoln, RI, painting banners for church masses and functions. Her hobbies included gardening and fishing with her youngest son Vince. She was “sharp as a tack” and had a great sense of humor up until her last days with us. The family is thankful that she was able to live independently all her life in a nice home with a beautiful yard to be close to nature. She will be greatly missed. Services are private.
